Surabhi Goshala Charitable Trust is a sacred sanctuary dedicated to the protection, care, and worship of indigenous Indian cows. Located near the historic Sri Krishna–Shiva temple in Manchirevula via Gandipet, Hyderabad, Telangana, our Goshala is home to over 50 cows of native breeds including Ongole, Gir, Sahiwal, and Tharparkar.
Our mission is to provide a safe haven for abandoned, injured, and aging cows, offering them a life filled with love, nutrition, medical care, and dignity. Inspired by the ancient Indian tradition of gau seva (cow service), we aim to revive and preserve the cultural and spiritual significance of cow protection.
Surabhi Goshala also promotes eco-friendly practices, traditional values, and community participation. One of our proudest achievements is the restoration of a 300,000-litre ancient stepwell, ensuring sustainable water usage for our animals and hosting cultural events in the adjoining amphitheatre.
We invite individuals and families to join us through donations, volunteering, or spiritual rituals such as Godaan. With your support, we continue our humble journey to protect and care for India’s divine companions—the cows.
Join us in preserving a sacred tradition and making a meaningful impact.
